About Mark

My creative background started in music. For years, I believed it would be my full-time path, until I experienced the industry firsthand and realized that creativity needs freedom to stay honest.

Photography entered my life in high school, but it wasn’t until later that I fully committed to it. I photographed my first wedding in 2016 and approached it with a photojournalistic mindset — documenting moments as they naturally unfold. That experience shaped how I see photography today: focused on storytelling, connection, and capturing people as they truly are.

Photography allows us to preserve moments that don’t come back. My goal is simple — to create images that feel real and lasting, so when you look back, you don’t just remember the day, you feel it.

Outside of photography, I enjoy being outdoors, working on cars, and making music. My life is grounded in my faith in Jesus Christ, which shapes how I approach my work, my relationships, and the way I move through life — imperfectly, but with intention.

  • I prioritize capturing the story as it unfolds. In other words, I like to keep things easy going and not make anyone do something they won’t want to do. My main goal is for you to experience your big day as it should be and when you see your photos you see your true self rather than what I as a photographer made it to be.

  • Definitely yes! I prioritize digital images for sure and when I color correct them I base them off of film colors. The amount of film I use on a typical wedding day is about 2-3 rolls and that is already included in the pricing. If you are interested in having a full day coverage with film, we can definitely chat about what the pricing would look like for that.

  • Hi res jpeg images that I carefully select, color correct and retouch myself. You also have the option to make some photos private before sharing the link with any friends and family. For prints, you also have full rights to print wherever you would like but I would highly recommend using the print labs I usually work with and you can find them in the online gallery portal.

  • I’m very easy going and like to be attentive for any questions you may have. I’m a huge advocate at working in weddings with a planner/coordinator and definitely believe that’s a nonnegotiable for sure. I understand wedding planning is stressful and never want to walk on anybody’s toes at anytime. So my main thing that I prioritize is being a team player and make sure everybody is happy.
