STACY + RIVER - Mt. RAINIER
Stacy and River’s elopement began long before the sun came up with a quiet morning hike into Mount Rainier National Park in Washington State. We reached their spot just in time for sunrise, as the first light started hitting the mountain peaks and the day slowly began to unfold.
Stacy finished her makeup on site and carried a beautiful bouquet made by Little Joy Fleurs, which added a soft touch to the rugged alpine landscape. The ceremony took place right at sunrise with only a few people present — Stacy and River, their pastor, and myself as both photographer and ring bearer. It was an incredibly intimate moment, shared quietly in the mountains with each other.
After exchanging vows, we spent some time exploring the surrounding area for portraits, taking advantage of the sweeping views and soft morning light that Mount Rainier is known for. Later on, we continued the experience at Deception Pass, where the dramatic coastline offered a completely different setting and a beautiful way to close out this unforgettable celebration in the Pacific Northwest.
